Terrapin Research at the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island
Since 2002 we have be monitoring the diamondback terrapin population at the Poplar Island offering research internships to graduate and undergraduate students to participate in research and engage in wildlife monitoring. The goal of our project is to understand how terrapin populations are affected by the construction of the island and the quality of the habitat that results from the construction.
